Following studies of Fine Art and Fashion Textiles in London, Australian-born Sarah Forgie brings a sculptural and material-driven sensitivity to her photographic practice. She works quietly and deliberately, exploring the relationship between form, surface, and space with a refined sense of restraint.

Her images move between disorder and control, holding structure without rigidity. She has an instinct for when to pull back and when to let a composition breathe, drawing on imperfection, negative space, and stillness to elevate the familiar through subtle shifts in light, material, and atmosphere.

Working across homewares, fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, Sarah creates imagery that feels tactile and timeless, human in its attention to detail and grounded in a thoughtful, pared-back approach.
